Wanted a backpack to fit my laptop and use when travelling. The laptop compartment was great and there is a lot of padding on the back of the backpack which supports the back and protects the laptop. However, I should have paid more attention to the interior reviews. The bag is larger at the bottom than at the top as it is slightly tapered. Not very practical as there always seemed to be room at the bottom of the bag and the lid was full. The external pocket is only at the top of the backpack, making it heavy and compounding the problem of lack of space at the top of the bag. The backpack is nice but a bit disappointing when traveling. I would not buy this style again.
