The laces failed after less than one month of use .
The laces failed after less than one month of use. I suffered a tear in the outer layer (nylon?) that resulted in the outer sheath separating from the inner rope. To be fair, I cannot be sure that this was a defect in the lace sheath tensility or that I simply caught a snag on something while out hiking as these are after all, hiking boot laces. But considering that I spent way too much time trying to select a pair of boot laces on Revain, I had high hopes that these would be a winner.
- as expected; a little pricey for single set of laces.
- They may not be as easy to replace as flat laces
