Review on Finnex Stingray Aquarium LED Clip Light for Enhanced SEO by Kendra Alexander

Works well, casts some diffracted shadows

It's definitely a different hue than the 6000k light. The 6000k light seems to contain more greens and yellows than this light. I suspect it's the red and blue LEDs. Speaking of LEDs, since there are about a dozen of them, you'll see pretty harsh, harsh shadows on everything in your aquarium with this light, especially compared to a fluorescent light. An object has multiple shadows. Okay, so maybe they're not super sharp, but they're not smooth either. Whether you like it or not depends on your personal preference. Red and blue LEDs can seriously highlight some fish colors. My fish looked like a completely different individual. I keep a Betta in a planted arrangement with this one. The Betta is red in color with some blue tints. This light gives off a lot of color and the Betta looks quite bright under the light. It was all subjective, so I can't deduct or award points for that. I didn't like it at first but I got used to it and now appreciate what it does to my fish. An objective point deduction is that the neck, while flexible, is not good enough to adjust the height. more than an inch light. The only way to lower the light level is to tilt the light diagonally. It ruined my plant growth. Since most of the light is now on one side of the tank it looks like most of the light is reflecting off the sloping slope onto the acrylic and my plants are scrambling to the side instead of crawling towards the light. And the last. The fact is that the lamp has a mounting clip, which is actually a transformer for LEDs. This piece goes against the glass of your aquarium. it warms This may not be very good if you don't want to heat the aquarium. This is especially important for the smaller aquariums this light is sold for.
