I usually wear 9-10 depending on the shoe. I got a 9 and my toe did touch the front of the shoe at times initially, but it didn't bother me. I prefer a tight fit and then break them in. Torn now, fingers don't rub. Ideal. If it feels a little tight, give it two weeks to a month and it will be perfect. I've loosened the laces to the point where the foot can easily slip through without being tied or untied and it still fits snugly in with great healing grip. I'm picky about my boots. I don't like flexible loose heels and these things give your healing the perfect amount of movement. Good solid super comfortable shoes.
