I have never heard such an impressive sound in headphones. I'm sitting here listening to Fleetwood Mac's Rumors and they sound so clear and perfect that I can't concentrate on writing this review. You can go your own way. I don't know about anything. When audiophiles start talking about highs and mids, my eyes glaze over. All I know about sound quality is I know it when I hear it, and I hear it now. These headphones are amazing. They are clearly superior to my other favorite BASN Metalen Pro IEM headphones. I think they're even slightly better than my favorite pair of Jabra on-ear headphones. Put simply, these things make the music better. Okay, that brings me to my minor complaints. The fit of these headphones is pretty good out of the box. I replaced the included foam pads with the smallest of the gel pads and they fit perfectly. The problem is that the shape of the earpiece makes it a bit uncomfortable to wear when the cord is bent up and over the ears. They stick out too far from the ear for that, and since the purpose of wearing the headphones is to increase stability, the object is kind of nullified. Unfortunately, the headphones are shaped in such a way that you really have to carry them up if you want them to fit properly in your ear canal, so that's something you have to put up with. The headphones connect to the cable via an MMCX connector. , and as far as I know they are detachable so you can connect them to other accessories like a Bluetooth connector. Although God knows how. I have several headphones with MMCX connectors and they come loose easily. When I tried to disable them I couldn't. They don't move and I feel like if I pull harder I'll do some damage. Not sure what the problem is. However, none of these minor complaints are enough to deter these Shure headphones from earning a 5-star rating. It was guaranteed as soon as I hit the play button.
