I bought two of these kits and they worked great straight out of the box. Only used to try it out, probably not in use for more than an hour. It was in August. Tried today, all batteries are dead. all 24. They were turned off with the remote, so I don't know if you need to turn them off manually to save their "long" batteries, but they're all completely drained. So to use them I'd have to buy 24 spare batteries without knowing how to keep them from draining again in less than two months when they're off. Very very disappointing and of course the return period has expired. UPDATE: Contacted the seller and received a refund. Referred to the seller for this, but I still wouldn't recommend buying it unless you plan on turning off each candle manually rather than using the remote control. I consider this a defect in the product.
