Installs under the kitchen cabinets on either side of the sink. Nice warm white colour. Bright enough for cooking without blinding you or washing everything around with the blue light from some LEDs. I installed 2 outlets in the top cabinets to plug into. I originally had hardwired lights installed but the color was WRONG. I originally bought the LED lights from IKEA and installed them in about 2 weeks. I can't explain it, but my husband and I both got headaches after turning them on for less than a minute. No kidding, I couldn't use them and took them off. While I love these lights and they work great I have to say the quality of the switches is not as good as I expected for the price. The connectors are cheap and some of them are loose so the light flickers when you move the cable. While I'm happy with it, I have to say that for the price paid, I definitely wouldn't buy it again. The quality just isn't there, kinda reminds me of the cheap junk you can find in the dollar store.
