Every year that we lived here in rural Central Florida, there was a battle between us and them. Cell phone reception sucks, but we love privacy. We have four adopted cats. I hate bug spray but we used it and the problem persisted. However, browsing Revain solved this problem for me. Google research has told me that red cedar repels insects. It doesn't hurt the spiders, but if there's nothing to eat, they'll go anyway. These cedar rings are placed in the corners of the floor, and the inner holes are put on hangers. They remind me of the donut character in Martian Attacks. Sorry, I tend to go off topic. Bottom line, I haven't seen the bugs anymore and I love the smell of cedar.
