Picture not entirely accurate - Palmend (fits both Tungsten E2 phones and Palm Centro phones) has both a sync cable connector and data insert, hard case (although the picture shows only the sync cable connector). Because the power connector on my Tungsten E2 was damaged, I needed a cable that only had a data connector. My workaround was to use my sync cable between the included power adapter and the Tungsten. Because the sync cord is continuously charged, the icon does not indicate that the tungsten is charging; whatever it is, so it works fine. Since I have both a Tungsten E2 and a Centro phone, I have 2 sync cords. I tested the included cable with a voltmeter and it supplies 5 volts to both the power plug (which has the charge symbol on it) and the sync. Cord plug (which doesn't have a charging symbol but keeps both devices charged continuously) so the included cord should still work even if your outlet stops working (if you can't physically plug it into the power cord outlet - then you can use the included cord do not use as the end of the palm is a single hard shell). I use the car adapter and cable that came with my Centro. phone when I travel.
