My wife asked what I wanted for my 31st birthday and I said "Aquarium! I saw some jellyfish and realized I want jellyfish now. I am absolutely in love with him. 4 people have already asked if they are real because they move and look like real jellyfish! (Something similar too!) I love getting great deals too so it was like two birthday presents haha. It retailed for $19.99 versus the regular price of $39.99. I would happily pay $39.99 for it after seeing how cool and realistic it is. Sometimes it's just hard to tell, so I'm posting pictures and videos so people can see how awesome it is! Now some tips. Top up with distilled water. Don't use dirty tap water filled with stuff that clogs the bladder system (it's 88 cents a gallon, no excuse to skip that part!) Then add 3-4 drops of GOOD QUALITY. Soap like Dawn, Dollar Tree probably won't work. Run the machine for 5 minutes before placing the jellyfish and tighten them in your hand so there is no air under their little heads or they just float. And pull out that tiny piece of plastic on the remote that's hard to see before you panic that it's working. Works 8 hours, then turns off. We now leave it on 24 hours a day. Great night light for the living room and cool during the day! I only use blue and the softer blue because they're the most watery and the red looks scary so I'm making this for Halloween! Posting a facebook video showing peanut butter and jelly (their names) got 3 people to buy that specific product as I deleted the link for them to get THIS specific product. last thing. Noise. I really wish it was louder! Growing up I had this fake tank with 20 CDs and it was loud. He's barely audible, and he was at my end of the sofa that I lay next to at night and watched TV. It's good that he's so quiet. It operates 24 hours a day, exactly 7 days a week, and is half an inch deeper at depth, which is impressive for living in Arizona's "dry heat." Not sure when to add more drops of dish soap but I think once a month and will change the water every 3 months. It's probably in the owner's manual but I was too excited to read all of it hahaha. Great for all ages. I'm 31 and three people who thought they were real and thought they looked great and decorative were in their 50's they didn't show them to their kids but I'm sure they will love them. Even my 11 month old golden retriever gets lost looking at peanut butter and jelly (fish) sometimes, it's cute. So ages 9 to 99 will love it. Might even find it useful as a night light and a "pet" they don't have to take care of and a topic of conversation. I can't say anything bad about what is probably a first for me. Enjoy it when you buy it!
