Review on MICTUNING LS09901 7 Pin Momentary Laser Rocker Switch Winch in/Out - High Power Control for Ultimate Efficiency by Mahmut Ojeda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really nice switch - instructions could be better.

Nice rocker switch that glows blue when the switch is on. I used it to replace the handlebar switch that came with my winch. I hooked it up to a super winch on a Polaris Ranger 570. The instructions that came with it didn't help much. My instructions were for connecting multiple sets of lights. Some reviewers say it's not an instant switch. The switch I received was. It only works when you push the button, which is what you want in a winch. Some also said that the light was not working. When properly connected, the indicators on the switch will work. Below are the steps I took to get the switch to work and light up. The handles/blades on the back of the switch are numbered 1 through 7. *1 and 3 must be connected. for ignition/accessories. There is an easy to access wiring harness under the hood of my Ranger that gets hot when the ignition is switched on. I used it. This allows the winch to operate when the Polaris key switch is on. The rocker switch lighting also lights up when the ignition is switched on. I used the pigtail that came with the rocker switch so you only need to run one wire to the ignition/battery. * 2 and 5 can be connected directly to the battery if you want the winch to work when the switch is off, I used a pigtail here too. * 4 and 6 should be connected to the winch solenoid. One of the leaves is for the winch and the other is for the winch. I did NOT use a pigtail here as each blade needs to be connected to the solenoid separately. * 7 is the earth. I landed on the frame of the car. Using this wiring the winch will work properly, when the key is on the blue lights will illuminate.
