I recently started shopping for a good facial cleanser that didn't contain any chemicals and wouldn't break the bank. Most men might think that a washcloth is fine for washing your face in the shower, but as you get older, you want to take better care of your facial skin. I have used Clinque and Aesop in the past. Now I'm going to talk specifically about the cleansing face wash. I love the feeling on my skin. I have what is known as "hybrid" facial skin (the forehead tends to be oily and the lower part of the face tends to be dry). The face gel made my face clean and light. Most cleansers either leave my face heavy and greasy or dry to the bone, but this felt perfect. It doesn't smell very much and I can definitely live with the list of ingredients. Also, it really cleans the face. I know it sounds like a no-brainer, but I've used facial cleansers that still leave dirt on a cotton swab when I apply toner. Not so with this one. In fact, you don't need toner when using this toner as it really works. It is enough to use it and then apply a daily moisturizer and facial scrub several times a week. Simple, affordable and effective.
