This jacket is thick, heavy and warm enough for the dead of winter. But it's very *heavy* to wear/wear and it's square - I felt wide. and looks a bit like a Michelin star. But I think it's a compromise and I'm sure I don't care what it looks like when it gets really cold. This jacket is so big and heavy it arrived in a bag with the duvets. Fits. - The size is small, tight on the arms and shoulders but loose on the torso. Above knee length. I would not get taller or shorter. If I went down the size, the sleeves would be too short and too tight. If I added the height the torso would be even wider and even more like a Michelin man. The hood is too big. Even with the fur lining removed, it just falls on my forehead and closes my eyes. It cannot be tightened for a better fit and is not removable. Particularities. The front zip closes at the top and bottom. That's convenient. There are 2 zippered side pockets. All zippers work smoothly.- All buttons are snug and secure.- The fur lining unzips and the remaining buttons on the hood zip together so you aren't left with dangling buttons.- Knitted cuffs keep your wrists warm on the Back of jacket, not on front of chest or arms. The materials are different. The product description says "cosy-chic down jacket", but it's not a down jacket. Label Materials: Face 100% Polyester. Lining 1 100% Polyamide. Lining 2 100% Polyester. Filling 100% polyester. Trim: 80% Acrylic, 20% Polyester. I agree as I don't prefer down either way, but it's misleading if you're actually looking for a down jacket.
