Received my 250GB hard drive yesterday, took about 30 seconds to install. and it works great so far! I would like to point out that Amazon offers to buy xbox360 transfer kit with this item. What is NOT required. All you have to do is go to the storage section on your Xbox toolbar and transfer your saved items from your internal storage to your new hard drive. I needed to migrate 3.1GB of data and it only took about 5 minutes. Also, in some cases, you will not be able to use some of your DLCs. All you have to do to fix this is go to your account page on Xbox. Dashboard and go to "License Transfer” option, then transfer the licenses from INTERNAL STORAGE to HARD DISK. I haven't had to do this yet, but I've been told it can happen. This product ONLY works in Xbox360 Slims. not old models. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that even though this hard drive is 250GB, you really only have about 228GB of storage space. This applies to most hard drives. 228GB should still be enough space for most people. Example: Installing Forza Motorsport 4 (Disk 1) on my hard drive took up 7.6 GB of space (it took about 10 minutes). Skyrim took up 3.8GB of disk space (less than 5 minutes).
