I suffered from restless legs syndrome for several years. I took medication for it, but it suddenly stopped working. My doctor said there was nothing more we could do and it would only get worse with age. Someone suggested I try a weighted blanket. Oh my goodness! It really works! I love this shop! I even took it with me when I traveled by plane. It went through airport security but my bag was manually searched each time. It's heavy but not too hot (I live in Florida). I just folded it 4 times and only covers the legs. The beads make a faint sound when I move: it's like the rustling of dry leaves. I have poor hearing so it doesn't bother me and my husband has never complained. Also, I had no issues with the cords inside the incredibly soft and fluffy duvet cover. I have recommended this blanket to several people.
