I decided on a lamp for a long time and I am glad that I was not in a hurry. Here is my experience: .Pro: The lampshade is made of glass, not plastic. Supplied with all necessary equipment. They only supply the bulb and it comes in a standard size. Electrical components are UL or CE certified for safety and quality (300V cord, 125V switch). No professional installation is required, as long as you can attach the hooks it can be done in minutes. Excellent packaging provides the necessary protection during transport. Textured glass adds beauty and won't fade or wash off. It looks like this "flower" has just freshened up after a rain shower. The amount is entirely up to you and can be changed at any time. brightness setting! This offers maximum flexibility in placing the dimmer where it is needed. In my case, I can hang the cord on the wall and then route it to the bed so I can operate the lamp without getting up. The extension cord then provides power out of the wall. Placing the dimmer switch higher would ruin that comfort or require awkward tugging of the cord from the corner to the bed. .Cons: If your outlet is near the floor, you probably need an extension cord, remote outlet, lightbulb, or smart plug. Otherwise, you'll have to go downstairs to work. It needs some patience for the cord to loosen after transportation. I've added a photo so you can see what I mean. First you can see the creases that were on the cord. This lamp worked for me for 2 months and the cord straightened itself. .Conclusion: This lamp is a quality item, so if it looks like what you need, go for it! The shadows it casts on the wall are subtle, and I prefer them to something drastically distracting. I paid a little more than the current price (as of March 2019) for this lamp and I am happy with it. This lamp is worth what I paid for. This review is unpaid and unwanted.
