The fan is great! Very powerful. This thing blows a lot of air at you! The only issue I had was that the switch doesn't stay on when you unplug and plug it back in. I also wanted to hook it up to an Eco Smart Powerstrip and it would turn on automatically when the main element was turned on and off. when the main element is turned off. You can't do that, however, as you have to press a button to turn it back on, so there's no auto-on like there would be with a hard switch. It does not turn on when power is restored. Otherwise it was a very good fan!
