Very lightweight device with clearly marked connections. This is an old style audio device complete with "speaker wire around screws" connectors. The output jacks are a bit cramped, making wiring awkward (at least for those of us with fat fingers and limited dexterity), but they keep the speaker cords secure. Connected (Nov 2017) to a 2 year old Sony A/V receiver (input) in my unheated garage going to a set of JBL outdoor speakers on A and a set of vintage bookshelf indoor speakers on B (also outside my garage). Both sets of speakers were previously connected to the same output, so they worked together. Now I can drive any of them: the good ones (JBL) face the backyard and the cheap ones face the pool on the side. There was no drop in sound level on either channel even when both were on (A+B). The great thing is that the switch is designed to be wall mounted directly with 4 screw holes. They're too close to the case for easy installation, but they're there. I've been using it for about 6 weeks with no problems.
