I'm writing this review in hopes that I can save a new walking baby or two from falls and headbutts. I bought them for my first daughter and a few years later for my second daughter. I noticed that my second daughter fell significantly more in these shoes than the others and I realized that these shoes were probably the reason my first daughter fell so badly. These shoes have a large outer lip on the lower front that sticks out much further than a person just learning to walk should. This outer lip is a trip and fall hazard. These are cute shoes and they are suitable for a child who does not walk at all. But for very young children who are just learning to walk or have not walked for a very long time, they should be avoided 100%.
