You need to purchase additional parts to use this phone in the US.

The phone comes with a factory original fast charger (22.5W with many safety features). But the charger doesn't work in the US because it has round heads. To make it work, you'll need either an adapter ($5-10) or a comparable new charger (around $15-25). This increases your real value of the phone. There are some vendors who can provide an adapter for free, but you need to find out which one does. BTW: called Xiaomi but they said that they don't officially sell the Redmi Note 9 in the US, so they can't exchange the phone charger. to the Flathead who works here.
