Useless little things either fall out or get stuck. And consider it game over when they break. Yes, it worked. I have pets. My pets tend to stick their noses, paws and heads in my blinds. They break the stupid plastic holders far too often. I've had this with buying new blinds only to end up with the same crappy plastic pieces. I bought these in metal and haven't had to buy new blinds for two years. They are a bit difficult to lift unless you have long drill bits or screwdrivers. but they are ALL worth it. My newest (chubby) cat has been pulling up my blinds lately and the entire congregation is barely moving. I am happy with this purchase.
