The backs are very small and difficult to put on

Plastic backs are mandatory to avoid losing the earring. But they're almost impossible to put on if you have even the tiniest fingernails. I couldn't attach the back so I held onto the earring but one of them slipped out and I lost it.

Pros

Love them and improve their lifespan before they tarnish

Cons

This is for very young children.
