Review on CamelBak Octane Hydration Black Atomic by Johnny Bloomer

I really like this pack. I used the front vest with a water bottle for long runs, but wanted to change it because I needed a reservoir and extra storage for cold weather runs, an extra jacket, etc. It is small enough to function as a hydration vest but can actually function as a vest small day pack. Inside there is a small compartment for keys, knives, plasters etc. as well as an additional outer rear pocket and a drawstring. The front pockets could hold collapsible water bottles if you want to hold water that way and the back could be used for all storage. Plenty of room in front for food, gels etc. I ran about 75 miles in it and the straps fit just right, no leaks etc. The trekking pole holder fits but not the best design - you have to remove the backpack for this. to access them. Bought lemon green for visibility when I take it on car trips.
