I'm a dog groomer and I waste hair ties for fun. They work great. Odorless, the films stretch easily and will hold their shape if you don't stretch them too much. My hair and these ties have to deal with water, high humidity, and heat my entire shift, and I haven't snapped a single one. I'm African American and they don't pull my hair.
