My shoes are made for running: ARIAT Youth Dash western boots on test

While these shoes are made for walking, they certainly aren't made for dancing. When I was young I was drawn to the cheerful design of the ARIAT Youth Dash western boot. However, after wearing them for a few hours to my cousin's barn party, I quickly found that they lacked arch support and cushioning. My feet barked louder than the ranch. On the other hand, the gaiters are durable and withstand the beatings of several fierce heifers well. All in all, not a bad choice for a short ride in the saddle, but definitely not for a night of dancing.
