When reading product reviews, I recommend keeping an eye on the level of experience. This is my first try - I always went to the salon. The good thing is that once you get the hang of sugaring, it's easy and effective. I also think it's less painful than pulling the strips in the opposite direction of hair growth. Very easy to clean and doesn't require a lot of product. The bad thing is the learning experience! :) I overheated my sugar which resulted in me bringing an ice cube for my finger which I stupidly dipped in the sugar without waiting to see if it was too hot. It takes some practice to reach the right temperature. Too hot, it's a gooey mess, but I've found I can still click it if I let it cool. I've also used the strip a few times and it has worked well. All in all - looking forward to my next attempt, just as excited that he's still pulling his hair out. I'm assuming the sugar is a lot easier to work with and I'm definitely not going to overheat it, if at all. I notice that there are fewer glitches than when I went to the salon. I also think shorter hair is lighter so it doesn't require as much regrowth. I recommend watching the video mentioned in the package, watching other YT videos that show the consistency of sugar, starting with small amounts and being patient. If you don't have experience, expect some learning and practice. I will buy again.
