Perfect! Works well with analogue Bluetooth AV interface for hearing aids (Phonak Compilot II)

me for streaming audio from TV to hearing aids (Phonak Compilot II) is analogue and still uses red/white AV Cable for connecting to a television. But the new Samsung Smart TVs don't have dedicated AV ports, only blue/green ports. The drop cables that came with the TV and were supposed to connect the blue/green connectors to the old AV cables didn't work on my Compilot. No sound. So I bought this thing and hooked it up with a digital audio cable. It works just great with my Compilot and the sound is much better than when I connected the Compilot to my old TV with just AV cables. It only took about three minutes to set up and was very easy to use. Highly recommended, especially for hearing impaired users trying to adapt older technologies used by hearing aid manufacturers to new devices. Hearing aid manufacturers are notorious for lagging behind with the latest technological advances, especially when it comes to updating their high-performance hearing aids for people with severe hearing problems. The analog compilot can be finicky when trying to connect to new devices and when Samsung's Y-cables didn't work I was afraid I would lose Bluetooth audio capabilities with my new TV unless I bought a whole new Compilot base (another $150+), and maybe not, depending on whether the base now supports digital audio. Luckily I didn't have to find out. This little converter worked like a charm. And that with a deliberately capricious device, no less. Highly recommended!
