Review on πŸŽ’ Top-rated Paraffin Outdoor Backpack: Ultimate Camping Rucksack for Adventures by Michelle Marie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A quality backpack that's worth every penny

I bought 2 of these (same style, different colors) for me and my wife. We intended to use them as carry-on luggage for our flight to Emerald City Comic Con 2019. They are true to size and we felt that their durable canvas finish would last not just the flight but the whole week we wanted them to be. spend in Washington, inside and outside of Congress. If you plan on getting into your bag a lot or looking for something quickly, this isn't the best buy for you to begin with. That being said, if you plan on cramming a lot of stuff into it (let's say you buy a lot of souvenirs at a convention) then it's perfect. The material can withstand any impact and is strong enough to support the weight of most things you put inside. It is large and open in the main interior so you can put whatever you want in there. Figures, poster tubes for artwork, lots of buttons and pins, additional cosplay accessories, things you'll never want to hold in your hands. If you need a wallet or a phone, it has internal zippered pockets at the top for quicker access, but they're not big. A separate pull-out pocket accommodates your laptop or tablet (for easier access). There are side pockets but I'm not sure what you use them for as they aren't very secure. Of course if you were on a hike it would be good for firefighters, a compass and the like. The water bottles are too big to put in a bag but big enough to fit in a bottle if you don't mind keeping it closed. The medium-sized exterior pocket is good for storing cables or other items we need quick access to, but since it's not as secure, it's not very practical for use at a meeting. Again if you use them for hiking or whatever. Where you're not in a big crowd that's fine, don't worry about pickpockets and such. The material, I would say, is comfortable. It's rainproof to a point because it's made of canvas. So if you have to run somewhere because it's raining, you're fine. Don't bother undoing the buckles if you don't adjust it as it has buttons. The embarrassed TSA guy was pretty funny. These bags carry significant weight, just so you know, especially when they contain stuff. But they are quite hefty given their material and size. So if you are a small or not strong person, maybe look elsewhere? Is the buckle on the shoulder strap also adjustable? It digs into the armpit at certain levels of customization, so be prepared for that. Overall I would still give 5 stars. It's a quality item at a good price and with proper care will likely last me a long time, well over a decade or more.
