Well padded and comfortable.
I bought the size 1 blue pair for my 8 year old daughter and she loves them. She says the shoes are comfortable, don't hurt feet, have good traction, and the Velcro closure is convenient to wear. She runs and jumps a lot in school and these shoes do the job. 5 Stars.
