I ordered the next size up for a good fit. A very good everyday jacket for the price. Ride without a balaclava in the sunny 70's spring weather, keep my chest cool and my hands not hurt. Didn't try to ride with the liner attached. I have attached some pictures, (1) There are 2 zippered side pockets on the outside of the jacket. Inside the jacket, there is a zippered pocket on the inside edge of the coat on the right side for carrying large items or weapons. It also has a lower back zip to attach it to your pants. All zippers seem to be of good quality, not cheap little flimsy types. (2) Inside lining - on the left side there are 2 small loops for carrying pens, or maybe a lantern for pens next to the velcro pocket for a cell phone. .All protective pads have good thickness for protection. UPDATE: The balaclava has a defective cheap zipper. I took off the lining for the summer. I recently put the balaclava back on for chilly fall weather. I once rode my bike 150 miles and when I got home the lining was separating from the jacket. So I pulled the lining back up and noticed that the entire zipper lining came out very easily with a little bit of tension. Obviously very cheap zipper for the liner. Without a lining, the coat is useless for winter weather. I sent a notification to the retailer about the broken issue but I never got a reply from them. So I changed my rating from five stars to one for a faulty product and poor customer service.
