The item arrived quickly in the mail and was very easy to assemble. All equipment came complete. Took me maybe 30 minutes and that's with added distractions (like my pup). While I was unpacking everything, my kitten was already very curious. When that was over, she jumped straight into the hammock section and took a nap. I particularly like this scratching post because I need somewhere my cat can be high enough to avoid my rather exuberant year-old husky. She finally has a comfortable haven from his machinations. In addition, the parts of the scratching post are very durable. I had other scratching posts and was afraid they would fall over. This can be securely attached to the wall.
