Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ 10" RGB Selfie Ring Light: Dimmable LED Circle Light with Phone Holder & Extendable Tripod Stand - Perfect for YouTube, Live Stream, and Photography! by Niko Knight

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does the job pretty well, just don't let the accessories be the deciding factor.

First Thoughts When I first opened the box I was a little worried about the quality of the product as I pulled out the tripod and noticed how light and flimsy it was. I wasn't too concerned though as I didn't buy the light due to the quality of the tripod. I noticed a remote camera shutter (like the ones that get added to everything lately) and cell holders: gooseneck and clip. They looked solid and higher quality than the tripod. The ring light itself felt light and had a tripod adapter that could be used with any other tripod. It also had an attached controller and a USB-A end. There was also a vanity mirror that magnetically clung to the center of the ring (don't forget to remove the protective film over it). The first time I used it, I waited for the night to fully test all the possibilities of this ring light. The white light has its own power switch and intensity control. Enabling RGB color adds a tint to the white you chose. If you want a more intense color, you have to disable white to get it. It took a minute or two to figure out the controls. At first it seemed clumsy and annoying, but after getting used to it I could fly and knew how to get the color and intensity I wanted. The makeup mirror was also really helpful as it helped me adjust settings and see them in real time over a large area that doesn't light the area like a monitor. Final Thoughts I'm giving this lamp 4 stars because I was really impressed with the performance it has. A clunky controller can easily be overlooked. The fifth star was prevented by a tripod of very poor quality. Even though I didn't buy it for a tripod it makes a bad first impression and luckily I have many others but if I decide to buy this as a person who needs this particular ring light because of a tripod I would be frustrated and worried about being dependent on those expensive gadgets and cell phones. If you're using it solely for ring lighting, I'd say it's fine. Light has no weight for him. Just be careful not to knock it over when using the included tripod. The rest of the accessories are good too.
