I only use this camera occasionally because most of the time I need a faster camera so I just use my phone. But it's better for traveling knowing you'll be taking lots of quality photos. Pros: - Relatively easy to use - Sturdy enough (I dropped it but it doesn't seem to work otherwise (see below)) - High quality photos. You can transfer images from an SD card or directly from the camera using a mini USB cable. Compact charger, easy to use. Red when loading, green when done. Very compact! It fits nicely in one of my purse pockets and even in my pants pocket (those are women's jeans!). Pretty easy. -- There are a lot of confusing menus, but I never bothered to read the user manual, but I managed to figure out almost everything I needed, no matter what. (So I could figure it out without reading the manual.) Cons: - The shutter speed is too slow for motion capture and I couldn't find a better setting. - Fragile (I dropped it and got a few scratches, but that's to be expected) - Battery life isn't great. It holds a full charge for some time, but once the charge level drops below full charge, it quickly dies. There's a pause between taking a picture and returning to the screen, but definitely better than other cameras. Turning it on takes the same amount of time. Auto flash isn't always reliable, so decide when to use flash and when not to. I recently tried to photograph a pond (dark) with a turtle (dark) in a large restaurant (bright in the background) and couldn't get the picture. But maybe I missed a setting.
