I bought another brand a month ago and it started great, but three weeks later the velcro wouldn't hold due to poor construction. I have a 34 waist and thought a S/M waist under 36 would be too small. The large fits but needs more packaging so I recommend buying the recommended size. So far it offers great support and the velcro is strong and firm. My other belt started out great but turned out to be crap so I went back and turned four stars into one.
