For small kittens only

This took about 5 months. We adopted our kitten when he was 2 months old and gave him this to play, scratch and climb. As it got a little bigger it started sleeping on it then stopped and it was completely useless so I put it next to a big full size cat tree basically just to use it as a stepping stone to get to it to get. , but it was mostly ignored until this morning. Now he's 7 months old, weighs almost 5.5 kilos and the thing is still falling apart completely at the base. I don't recommend it at all, spend a little more and get a real scratching post, even if your kitty can only use the lower parts of it at first, there's just no point in just getting this tree. that it becomes unusable and then breaks after such a short time. Kittens grow up so fast. I guess this only makes sense if you're raising a lot of kittens? It's nice, but just not worth it.
