Worn on a regular belt for about a week and it started breaking. I knew I needed a special harness. This belt was recommended to me by a friend and I am very satisfied. Well made and durable but not so hard as to make you uncomfortable. The only downside is that when carrying an appendix, the belt buckle and holster stacked on top of each other create quite a large bulge. Another holster is set up, or if you plan to take it with you everywhere, an attachment might not be so bad. Personally, I only move the buckle to the side at first.
