I've spent a lot of time deciding what case I need for my new Mac and I'm glad I made that choice. I have a lot of people in my class who ask me where I got this from. I've had several standard plastic cases and they all seem to break down over time. This is a little thicker, but offers additional protection. The feel of the case justifies its thickness. It fits my MacBook Pro 2017 very well. The upper is made of soft leather while the lower part of the body is made of a solid black rubberized material. I was really surprised by the feel of the bottom of the case. I was expecting the case to be all plastic, but the rubberized case gives the case a more premium feel.
