Review on ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Downright SIERRA Luxury Down Alternative Fiber Comforter โ€“ Hypoallergenic Queen Size Bedding โ€“ Comforel Fiber, 330 Thread Count Cotton Cambric Cover by Damien Holland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality duvet. Handcrafted in Brooklyn, NY. machine wash. There are no hooks/loops to attach the duvet.

This alternative duvet from Downright Sierra comes in a fabric-like zipped pouch with plush trimming that separates the down filling to prevent it from sliding to one end etc. It also has a satin trim. The fabric is soft, 330 thread count, 100% cotton cambric shell. The duvet is machine washable in standard front loading machines found in laundromats but I have washed almost all of my duvets and bulky linens to bulky in my very large front loading LG machine and then threw them over clean tables, patio, sofa and Chairs draped (or any brilliant curtain idea I could think of) to dry. I have an all season quilt that is heavier (fuller) than the summer version. We sleep on the hot side so I'm planning to use it in the fall/winter. I don't think this duvet is made for a duvet as there are no duvet cover buttons/loops/ties/fasteners in the corners to help keep the inner duvet secure in the duvet. I love the feel of this blanket. and the size is generous so it falls on the edge of the queen bed. Downright is a family business established in 1975 and these blankets are handcrafted at a local shop in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
