I bought this to tape labels to packages. First, the smell is terrible. It has a smell of very strong chemicals. Second, it is nearly impossible to pull apart to the desired length unless you keep struggling with it which creates white lines across the tape where the coefficient of friction is keeping it tight. If you want to use it as a seatbelt, it may work, otherwise, stick with the name brands for ease of use and no toxic odor.
