This is a really good pair of penny loafers - a premium leather upper and a flexible rubber outsole. The skin is black, but not pitch black, but has pebbles. Also, I can swear there's just a hint of brown in the coloring. The soles are off-white in color and rise about 0.75 inches from the flat on the sides. The white color will soften after a few wears. Classic style. Wear a medium size 10 and these moccasins are comfortable and don't pinch at all. Barefoot, the heel dangles a bit, but the shoes don't rub much. With socks, the shoes feel very good. There is some arch support. If assistance is required, you must provide your own stakes. Very nice classic loafers made of high quality materials.
