Review on 🎧 Etymotic Research HF3: High-Fidelity Noise-Isolating In-Ear Earphones with Advanced 3 Button Microphone Control by Linh Hellmuth

When I worked at a large audio engineering company and produced a lot of records, I heard a wide variety of audio playback devices. Most headphones deliver advertised bass with decent treble clarity at the expense of horribly foggy or completely absent mid-range frequency response. These headphones offer stunning mid-range clarity and smooth, detailed end-to-end response. Here are some specific thoughts: 1. Sealing is critical to reducing ambient noise and providing adequate low frequency response. The standard tips only worked when inserted deep into my ear canal and caused immediate discomfort. I ordered these aftermarket tips and they fit me perfectly. FYI, that was almost a deal breaker so for the price I would have ordered these tips right at the gate. The wire isn't as bad as many have pointed out, but I take care of my gear. I've only been using it for three months so I don't know how long the jack will last. It seems legal to me, but hitting it with anything while it's plugged in will surely satisfy the physics.3. All deep-sealed in-ear headphones produce noise during operation, and they are no exception. I have found that relaxing one ear while on the phone is more tolerable. Don't buy this if you're on the go and don't like noise.4. The bag is excellent.5. I first bought headphones for half the price from one of the most famous German microphone manufacturers and surprisingly these turned out to be the worst headphones I've ever heard, so I replaced them with these.6. ATTENTION, if you are serious about sound quality and use streaming services, these headphones will reveal any artifacts in low quality streams! I had to update one of my accounts but the results are amazing.7. Based on this performance I would buy their flagship product for sure! Hope that helps
