Love my hat in the sun and light rain
I have worn this hat to multiple art festivals. It's so much easier than putting on and taking off sunglasses. It protects my eyes, face, and neck from the sun. I've even worn it while walking in a light rain. It will last for about 15 to 20 minutes in the rain and then it starts to get too floppy. It dries fine and is ready to use again. I've gotten lots of compliments on the hat.
