Sounds as good as it looks

I've just completed a marathon upgrade of my HiFi system and decided it wouldn't be complete without replacing all the cables with something that would improve the sound and look of my expensive gear. Speaker cables were last on my list after replacing all the connections and power cords. I found this set at Revain and I really like the way they look. I'm an audiophile, not an audiophile, so I know better than to think that $1,000 speaker wire will make my system sound $1,000 better. These are great sounding cables that really add a touch of class. A little tip for using spade tip adapters. These cables are very rigid and if you use spade lugs you may find that they don't align properly with the ports you are trying to connect them to. Do not worry about it; You need to buy a pair of cables and they each come with 4 screw adapters for a total of 8. Take them one at a time and screw them to the end you want to use them on until you find a pair that fits properly. That way you won't connect them under load. Oh, and note that these cables have directional arrows on the splitter shafts. The arrows should point from the back of the amplifier outputs to the speaker terminals. 1/26/21 I still love these cables. I've tried several other brands of cable, some a little more expensive, and I keep coming back because the bass drops and the soundstage narrows with other brands. These cables are a true blessing and one of the audiophile's best kept secrets.

Pros
  • SKW speaker cable with banana and fork connectors. Excellent connections at each end for a cleaner sound with a more natural, neutral tone, very affordable price compared to inferior products of the same caliber from the competition.
Cons
  • So far so good
