Good: Compact and lightweight. The attachable tripod looks workable, although I would have preferred a built-in tripod rather than a separate piece that can be lost. USB charging is a plus, it would be a huge plus if you could also charge a flashlight through it. Battery life hasn't been tested for limitation, but seems okay. A separate work light/lantern on the side looks useful. Bad: a lot of scattering in the direction of the beam - this is more of a flashlight than a headlight. An adjustable beam would be a great benefit. The carrying strap included in the kit is of little use as the flashlight is light. "Tactical" features like strobe main light and red/blue flashing light have no real value. Ugly: I can hardly believe the claim of 6000 lumens. It's brighter than my 1000-lumen MagLite, but nowhere near six times brighter, and the latter's beam can be focused to carry much further. Also, IPX4 is waterproof, not waterproof. Don't soak Verdict: Good but not great, about average for the price. I would happily trade the extra weight for longer battery life and/or more light output. An AC/DC combo charger would make it a great camping light. As such, it's useful enough to keep close by, but next time I suspect I'll pay a higher price for a Stanley flashlight.
