Works great on 8 AWG wire
They mate perfectly with 8 AWG copper wire to make a connection for a 50A outlet. The rubber coating was very thick (at least 1/8 inch) so I'm not worried about its insulating properties. The caps covering the screws add a layer of protection against moisture or dust that could damage the connectors, making them easy to remove for later maintenance if needed. The connectors were also coated in some sort of anti-corrosion gel, which was a nice bonus .
