I really like this item for a number of reasons. I like to have the ability to place my jewelry once I remove it in a place that I know that I will find it once I want to wear it and it's compact enough for you to drop in your purse (if you have an average size purse or larger) or overnight carry-on bag without worrying about your precious items being damaged. I do wish it had a better feature for your necklaces, however, it does have a separate compartment that you can place fine chain necklaces in. Not recommended for bulky or not flexible bracelets and necklaces.
