Suitable for shoulder bags. Silk is much softer than polyester but not as stiff. I like that it doesn't have velcro. It's much quieter and less annoying when you need to open it! I had another silk purse around my neck, a huge one; It's a nicer size and had plenty of room for my passport and credit cards. I don't find the neck strap that comfortable, but it's the best I've found. This color is truly pink and is easily visible under light-colored clothing. If it has to be skin color, I've never seen anyone with that skin color. I have this silk jacquard holdall (black) to wear over my clothes. I take both and turn them off.
