This pet carrier meets airline regulations. Being a soft shell, it has some advantages that make it flexible. American Airlines says this size can fit under your seat but honestly I couldn't figure out how to do that without crushing an 8 week old Pomeranian I just picked up at DFW Airport. No problem as this stretcher sat very comfortably on my lap during the flight. It folds very small and fits in my backpack during departure, amazing! The underside is hard lined with a softer sherpa lined rug placed over it. It has zips at both ends as well as one at the top for easy access. Lots of mesh for ventilation and air. I plan to use this for trips to the vet clinic and other places.
