I hate how your wallet gets fatter the longer you have it. The same goes for keychains. I hate having a bulky wallet in my back pocket and a huge bunch of keys that I rarely use in my front pocket. MKC stumbled across my Vine and it felt like my prayers had been answered. And so it was - for the most part. So, with my convex double fold of Fossil and this new - tiny - MKC in front of me, I sat trying to work out the logistics of the merger. I finally decided that most of my loyalty cards can be combined with my Android Pay app and most other stuff I don't really need. It all came down to my driver's license, some credit cards, insurance cards, and cash. While this was very comfortable, the instructions explain that the skin will stretch to accommodate the contents. I don't know if the leather will shrink, so I would start with a minimal amount of material and add more if you really feel you need it. However, as promised, the skin has stretched throughout the day and everything is now snug but still within easy reach. The housekeeper fascinated me. I almost bought one of those pocket key organizers a few months ago - like a swiss army knife full of keys. The fact that it was built in is great. It includes 2 sizes, one for 4 keys and one for 6 keys. I only needed 4 keys and added my house keys and a few others. Unfortunately, car keys (at least from this century) do not fit. So if you own a car and drive frequently, you'll still be stuck with the keys in your pocket. I work from home so I don't usually need car keys and this works well. It took most of the keys out of my keychain which was a bonus. I was concerned that the screws would come loose and I would lose my keys as the mechanism holding the buttons are thumbscrews. So far I've been using them for a week and they're still tight. Even if they come loose, your keys are neatly stored in the leather case and will likely be in your back pocket when they fall out. You can also add a bottle opener and a USB stick. I was disappointed that one or both were not included, especially given the sixty dollar price tag. Seriously, you couldn't throw a bottle opener? Their USB key brand is thirty-two dollars for 16GB. This is very overpriced as I can go to my local micro center and get 32GB for sixteen bucks (oddly enough). The bottle opener was $10, but I don't see where to buy it now that Kickstarter is over. I found a USB stick in their Etsy shop. All in all, when it doesn't do anything else, it makes you wonder how much you really need all that crap you're lugging around every day. I enjoyed using it last week and have decided to keep using it for the foreseeable future. I like to have my house keys with me without having to take my car keys with me. It offers enough space for cards and cash. As I mentioned before, the wallet is minimal - there is no price. I wouldn't pay sixty bucks to try it, especially without the included USB and bottle opener.
