Review on 🚘 Enhanced Visibility: Winjet Aftermarket Fog Lights for [2005-2007 Honda Odyssey] Including Switch and Wiring Kit by Keith Morris

Replaced the old broken and fogged up headlights with these. They look good and work great. In the overview you will find installation tips.

I have a 2007 Odyssey Touring that already had fog lights but the lenses were cracked and fogged up. This kit contains everything you need to install fog lights on an Odyssey that doesn't have them. Light, wiring, switches, brackets. Also includes new bulbs. Since my Odyssey already had fog lights, I didn't need anything other than the headlights themselves. It is very easy to take off the old ones and put on the new ones. Here's what to do. It's easier if you put the front on ramps or stands to raise it about a foot or two off the ground so you can slip under the front and have some room to see and move around. Under the car, under the fog lights, you can see a dent in the bumper. If you click on the plastic fender there and look up with a flashlight, there's a small bolt there. This is an 8mm hex head, or you can try a Phillips screwdriver. Using a socket wrench reduces the chance of dropping the bolt when it comes out and losing it in the fender. Loosen the screw and carefully remove it. Next, grasp the inside edge of the fog light and pull the old light out of the front of the bumper. The wiring harness is attached to the lamp and to the recess in the lantern. Squeeze the notched clip, it pops out slightly, then use a small screwdriver to pry up the tab where it connects to the bulb and the whole lantern is now free. The new flashlight has a metal bracket that is secured with an 8mm screw/bolt. With you. Plug the lamp connector into the lamp in the new fixture. In my case it took a bit of wiggling to snap securely into place, it was better to slide the lamp connector onto the 1st and then insert the 2nd connector into the notch. Test now and make sure the lights work before reinstalling. Remember that they do NOT light up when you have your headlights on. When reinstalling make sure the small thin metal clip that the screw goes through is in place and attach it to the new light. You will see a round plastic plug with a hole in the center on a bracket that attaches to the bumper on the outside of the car. You need to gently wiggle the flashlight off the outside edge of the 1st and make sure the small round protrusion on the flashlight fits into the hole in the connector. It's hard to see when you have light, but you can feel it. If the boss is not in the hole, the inside edge of the headlight will not be flush with the bumper. Once the light is flush, carefully insert the screw from below and tighten. You may have to reach out and press the light from the front to get the hole to line up properly. All in all it took me about 30 minutes to do this job. The new headlights look very good compared to the old ones which were cracked and tarnished. I can't say they're super bright, but neither are the originals. If you need super bright bulbs, be sure to order some quality H8 bulbs when ordering this kit.
